I was incredibly disappointed with the experience and food selection, but, the entree I did order was pretty good. Really tasty hibachi and teriyaki entrees. We travel from Charlotte from time to time just to dine here. The owner and relative always welcome us with warmth. Interior is cozy and nice. Good for a date. They also serve sushi but it's a limited menu. Please give this place a try.

I called to order food because I moved to Hickory. My fiance is allergic to seafood and who ever answered the phone could not guarantee that it would not come into contact with seafood. How hard is it to keep an order separate from other orders? It was like he didnt care if someones life was on the line. So i told him I would take my business elsewhere. Horrible!

I've had some really good experiences here then some not so great.Sometimes the food is really hot and other times it taste like it sat under a food warmer for an hour or more.With the number of fast food style Japanese restaurants in Hickory I'd be willing to try others to see if they are more consistent.Same issue with the waitstaff as with the food...inconsistent

stay home -we went yesterday and were totally disappointed -soup was like water, egg rolls were over done -i had shrimp and scallops no taste and very salty the carrots were cooked in sugar water and fried rice was extremely bland -my wife had the steak and shrimp combo and was similarly disappointed -this was our first and last trip to Naganos on rt 70 --we dine out often and do not...
