This downtown Montclair restaurant has recently been renamed La Giada. We visited on a Monday night, so it was quiet. I would imagine that this is not the case on weekends. The service was however superb and the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the house dish: Veal alla giada. The calamari appetizer will not arrive deep fried, but is prepared more traditionally. I liked this restaurant better when it was a seafood restaurant called 'The Crabby Lobster'. Nothing particularly memorable here, nice outside deck in good weather. The upper ranges of good, but not great.
