Jerry installed 3 entry doors for me. 2 are french doors (2 doors in 1 frame). Both were mis-installed. The install guys didn't use a level or a tape measure to measure corner to corner... and both doors were out of plum/square and didn't seal and wouldn't lock without lots of effort (pushing on door, cranking on lock, etc). When closing the front french door (which has huge decorative panes of glass..$$$$) the active door hits the passive door--taking chips out of both (fiberglass doors). Jerry's guys tried many times to fix. Finally after pounding both frames with a sledge hammer--the back french door is servicable. The front door still hits itself when closing--and won't seal (wind whistles through it). The frame is so messed up the door when closing hits in the middle--but is no where close to closing at the top or bottom. The manufacturer (Weather Seal) sent out a representative who said the doors are mis-installed and need to be redone (with a new frame). That was more than 4 weeks ago. Jerry has stopped returning my calls (always had to chase him since doors installed in Oct of 2011 to get any action). Its been almost 2 months since I heard from Jerry--so I've filed a BBB complaint and am getting ready to take him to small claims court to get my money back. Another example--we asked all doors have same key (after reading another review who said they got different keys for each door. We got 3 different keys--had to demand he swap the locks to get us 1 key.

Jerry @ Mt. Clemens Door installed 3 entry doors for us Oct 29 of 2011. Its Feb of 2012 and our issues with our doors are still not resolved. From day 1 its been a headache working with Jerry. We asked for all 3 doors to use the same key.. intead we received 3 different keys. Then--2 of the entry doors are French doors (2 doors in 1 frame). I contracted Mt.Clemens Door to install a new steel entry door. Five days later I don't have the correct lock I order, the door floor plate is loose and the weather stripping was installed wrong. When they came back out to install the correct lock assembly they brought out the wrong one again! They told me it would be another couple of days to get the correct lock from Wixom, MI. I also don't have the key to the lock, the installers told me they left it at the locksmith and told their boss they lost it, this is a business that does not care if someone else has a key to your home or...
