My father has an account with M&T in Glenmont.
Every time I went to make a deposit for Spaid's Sunoco, the teller told me that they could not take any of the checks on account of they were not endorsed.

M&T Bank has branches all over the United States, and has been in the Washington metropolitian area for decades. It has several branches in the Wheaton Area.
