Depending on the type of gear you are looking at, they will usually let you try it out next door in the Quarry before you buy it. They are extremely knowledgeable and open with their opinions and recommendations for all ability ranges and preferred types of climbing.

Don't bother going anywhere else for your gear.

Went to buy an initial gear set up and the guy everyone there was amazing. He took a good chunk of time and showed me every knot and everything I would need to know and then walked me through every aspect of the climbing world and answered every question with full detail. Very knowledgable staff and exceptional deals.
