We made a reservation a week in advance for five nights. Our decision to stay here was based on several excellent reviews posted on tripadvisors website. Upon arriving we were quite disapointed with the property. The suite that we booked was not clean, dog hair on the couch, dead insects littered the floor. We travel from California every year to spend our vacation in alpine, arizona. Our favorite place to stay is the Mountain-Hi Lodge. We just love the management. They always make us feel welcomed and they are always eager to help us with our needs. We feel like we are staying in our home away from home. What a reat place to stay . We had a large group a (car club ) .We had a great time there . We sat outside by the fire ring and BBQ area and had dinner there plus we saw Elk in there lawn area . they also have a great gift store with homemade fudge . That was out of this world . We'll be back with more of our friends . Thank you for the great memorys that we had there .
