"You can pay more and find fancier", but why do that ponder patrons of these "basic" North Beach–SoMa "institutions" serving up American fare like "super-fresh, tasty" burgers, "real strawberry" shakes and "killer" fries (plus "great" breakfast fare at Grant Avenue); add in "bargain" prices for "huge" portions, and it's a little piece of "heaven."

This '50s-inspired grill attracts diners with beyond-generous portions and well-prepared standards.

Hidden gem the local union guys told us about years ago and it's fantastic every time. Fresh, fast, delicious food (yes its possible!) and friendly attentive service. We went back today for 2nd day in row and our waitress not only remembered us she remembered we loved the fresh squeezed lemonade and had two on the table before we blinked....

I LOVE the walk to Mo's, past the Martin Luther King Waterfall, up stairs and across the upper playground, behind Zeum. WOW, the views from up there are incredible and the burgers and fries are always AWESOME! I like the energy and the menu is not complicated but has something for everyone.
