Worst experience with eyeglass frames...ever

I purchased a pair of black framed eyeglasses less than 1 year ago from Morganthal Fredericks. Recently, the arms faded to grey. When I back to the store, I showed them to Howard, the manager. His reply was, " I can buff them out". I still don't know how you can 'buff out' a grey fade to return to a black color. I said that was unacceptable, so he ordered me the arms (not a whole new frame). When I came back to pick up the arms, the screws he used to connect the arm to the frame were larger and protruded out about 1/16th of an inch on top and bottom of bracket. Any other optician, especially for the price I paid, would have had the entire frame replaced. But since the were a Morganthal Fredericks brand, they wouldn't. Needless to say, I will never return.
