Moonshadows is the ultimate venue for that romantic date. Sit by the ocean and take in that gorgeous view of the sea, while dining on sumptuous fare. To name a few, the southern California bouillabaisse, roasted ginger marinated free range chicken, and honey-brined Niman Ranch pork chops are some of the delicious options. There isn't a shadow of doubt that you'll be coming back here time and...

This is a great place to go out on a date. The music that was playing when I went was lounge/house and the outdoor bar area was so nice with the cabanas, I was reminded of Miami. The food is great, though be prepared to pay at least $25 a plate & $12 for cocktails.
A complete overhaul of décor and cuisine transformed a faded Malibu institution into a fine dining spot. Located right on the beach, every table at Moonshadows boasts a panoramic seascape. As a reflection of the view, the menu focuses on seafood, from beachfront classics to more adult dishes. The cuisine, although not terribly sophisticated, can be counted on to showcase the freshness of local...
"Bring a ring – the answer will be yes" insist admirers of this ultra-"romantic" Malibu New American perched over the Pacific and offering "stunning views"; given such an "amazing" setting, many find the "pricey" food to be "an afterthought", but sipping "strong drinks" on the tiki-themed patio is always "a delight."
Rehabbed Malibu legend (not Cat Stevens), reborn as a chic blue oasis with Zen touches, defies '70s name. Unlike Melanie Griffith, the makeover worked. Epic ocean views and staff patient and caring enough to deal with Mel Gibson. Someone get them their own reality show already. Brings Asian eats with authority, sweaty celebrities thinking they're above anyone else's. Graze seaside on crispy...
The sister lounge to Moonshadows restaurant offers a pseudo-party atmosphere for guests whose plates of Dungeness crab ravioli and steamed clams make them want to take a spin on the dance floor...
Sapphire blue-lit lounge housed in Malibu's oceanfront seafood mecca Moonshadows; featured DJs and theme nights Thursday through Sunday evenings.
Would recommend! Food was excellent, view is even better. Wait staff is a bit pompous, but that can be expected at a place like this. We sat outside at a few stools and a low table, but it was so...
Had a fantastic Birthday dinner! It was cold outside but the outdoor heaters were great! The filet and lobster were top notch! Love the atmosphere!

Really fun view and cool spot. Only losing a star because they don't have any vegan friendly items on the menu. Here is to hoping they put some items on the menu that are vegan so people in the...
We decided on brunch today for Sunday funday in Malibu after church. This restaurant is simply amazing, the views of the ocean are breathtaking! We decided to order a bottle of champagne with...
