Mojitos is located in Boston's historic downtown area, steps away from Boston Common and a short walk from Newbury Street. All four lines of the MBTA stop in the area; the Park Street and Downtown crossing stops are within a block. \n\nMojitos is a multi level venue, with approximately 6000 square feet. However, it offers two unique yet complimentary ambiances.
Boston isn't normally associated with Latin dancing, but on Fridays and Saturdays this club near Park Street packs in a young, multicultural crowd for hip-swiveling salsa and merengue on a narrow upstairs dance floor. I went with a few friends and there were only a few other tables there but 4 bar tenders. the Mojitos are great if you don't mind waiting. It took over 20 minutes for our drinks to come. I would not come back to Mojitos.
Although not impressed by the place itself, I must admit I did appreciate the music variety played by the DJ. Not only did he play the current hottest hits he also played some of the previous hits most of us have forgotten but still love.
Service was a little slow, but food was great and drinks were AWESOME!
The food is so-so, and the speed to serve food is very slow despite very few customers.
I wil lead with my only complaint. This place is hard to find. This being said the experience finding it was kind of cool. It is hidden upstairs in a beautiful venue above a mall like space with some less than awesome businesses below. I walked into a ghetto cell phone repair store and was escorted to a door and then...... entered a entire new world. The contrast is beyond night and day....

Mojitos Latin Lounge and Nightclub offers free Salsa lessons followed by Salsa hits and a mix of Latin and International until 2:00 am. VIP table reservations are available. Every other Saturday is a Showcase Saturday, featuring a dance performance of exotic dances from around the world.
Based around a secret family recipe, Mojitos bar and dance club offers signature Mojitos and top of the line mixed drinks. Live entertainment includes performances by DJs and summer Reggae contests. Mojitos, situated in a three storey building has a lounge where guests can take free Salsa lessons from dance experts. This is a perfect place for a date or a night in the town with friends.
Parking is available at the Lafayette Garage for $7 with a Mojitos parking validation stamp.
