Everytime I go into Modell's there are plenty of employees- just none who are able to help me, or when I help myself, to then cash me out. Half the time I have tried to shop there I just end up leaving the merchandise at the register and walking out. Better to drive the extra 15 minutes to Sports Authority in No. Haven.

Modells is a decent sporting goods store located on Hamden's shopping strip. While its inventory is not as complete as Sports Authority, it is more convenient for those of us who shop Dixwell Avenue.…
