Allston's best dive bar. Located at 7 North Beacon Street across from Twin Donuts.
A "classic neighborhood bar" around since the Great Depression, this "dark, dingy" Allston watering hole draws a "barely-21" punk crowd that leads some to compare it to "Ozzy Osbourne's daycare"; regulars like its "stiff" cocktails, "cheap" tallboys and weekend dance parties, but aren't crazy about the cash-only rule.
great beers, great atmosphere, family run joint for about a 100 years. Current owners are good guys who run a great ship
