Starbucks-like drinks without the attitude. Very friendly local staff and ownership, great place to hang out in the club chairs or the lowtops by the window to peoplewatch. Bakery and other items available as well.

Love this coffee shop

Skip Starbucks and head to Mocha Java. A great vibe, with delicious coffee, teas, espresso and snack items. You can tell that the owner is passionate about their product and their customers. Outdoor seating is available, along with very comfortable and inviting indoor seating. I love the cinnamon muffin and cafe mocha with double espresso shots.

I love mocha java
It is so local and cute!
I love hanging out at Mocha Java and feel you are at the center of Dedham!!
Everyone is very friendly. They have kids books in the back.

Good coffee shop

Cute coffee shop with a great variety of coffee. Seemed like a local place where the staff seemed to know many of the customers. It would be nice if they had more cookies or snacks to go with the coffees. They also have a bookshelf where you can borrow something while you're there. Outdoor seating too.

The lattes here are really yummy. My favorite is the chai latte, which warms me right up in the winter and has the best taste. Of course, I've had some things on the menu I didn't like as much, but everyone has their tastes and there are way more things I love. The snack bar next to the ordering counter...
