Bad experience with outdoor lessons

We had several indoor lessons for our daughter that went well. Then we took lessons outside and for the last we went to Snoqualmie and paid a lift ticket for nothing.
The instructor (Tommy) did not show up and didn't give any excuses for that....

I can't believe this is #6 in outdoor activities with only 1 review? I've used Mini Mountain about 10 years ago and I can say it hasn't changed a bit. I had to laugh when I saw a poster advertising it as the best ski...

We heard about this place from a friend and thought it would a great way to get our two girls on skis and used to being on the slopes before actually getting out there in real snow. Expensive, somewhat decrepit place

The unique ability to put skis on for the first time (for kids and adults) and get the feel for position and movement is certainly the draw here.
The place however seems quite old and decrepit, and the instructors are either angsty teenage boys or...
