Not to long ago, I went to Mimi's Cafe on a date. We were seated rather quickly and were greeting with pleasant customer service. The menu had many options to choose from and though I can't recall what he ordered, I do know he was pleased. I have know idea as to why this place closed down. We use to go to brunch on Sunday's, but it's closed. It's good, but know worth drive to the Brandon, to eat.

The only reason I go here is because they inundate my email with BOGO coupons. The food is average and the prices are a little much if you don't have a coupon.

Good food and very large menu. We had a party of 18, and some did not receive their food until others had finished theirs. Not good when you want to entertain. Lunch time is better.

We made reservations for a party of 25-30 for an "after the wedding rehearsal dinner" weeks in advance. Little did we know until the day of the dinner that this was the last night that the restaurant would be open for business. The dinner was a disaster with the service lacking and many items on the menu unavailable.

Mimi's simulates the all-American cafe of yesteryear. From slow roasted turkey breast to pork shanks, this place is all about comfort food. And all of their fried items are cooked with a cholesterol, trans fat-free cooking oil (just like mom used to make!). With Mimi's huge portions and homemade muffins, you definitely won't go home hungry.
