What can you say, it's the only rink in Lake county so you HAVE to go there or take a trip to South Bend or Chicago for a rink, it seems almost every 4 or 5 months there's a new guy cleaning the ice without a clue as to what he's doing, the locker rooms are atrocious even by ice rink standards, sure there's new paint, but the shower floors haven't been redone in years, the urinals smell like...

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Midwest, but hands down, the staff is just amazing. Everyone from the front desk, to instructors, to management is wonderful. We've done birthday parties, open skate, open gym, and skate lessons and gymnastics lessons. My kids LOVE it and won't stop asking when they can go back. Prices are very reasonable.
