Brought in commemorative poster from Paris to be dry mounted. Framing dept lost it and did very little to find it. No managers knew of problem. Very frustrating situation.

A large store filled with endless possibilities. I like how they are always having sales 30 to 40 percent off items. My only gripe is I feel some items are highly overpriced.

last minute jewelry supply

I frequent Michael's when I'm in a rush and cannot wait for a shipment from my usual suppliers.
They change their bead and findings inventory frequently which sometimes is problematic if I'm going for something specific that I previously bought there and now they no longer carry it. But on the flip side, because they do change a lot, there is always something new that I find to experiment with.
They have lots of crafting supplies and tools to choose from which is great though!

Not much of an art store

The staff doesn't know much of anything when it comes to art supplies. I called and asked if they stocked bristol board. Their reply was: "...what's that?" Nice. Their inking pen selection was mediocre at best and one of the sales people actually said (with pride) that those pens that they had were the VERY BEST when it came to inking in comics/etc. No, no they were not. Not even close.
