Dr. Austin is not a compassionate doctor. He is aloof, accusatory and unkind. You are made to feel that you have a mental disorder and that your pain is essentially in your head. I've been with him for over a year, had a failed double fusion in July, he not only did not believe me (test results were available to him) but when I finally got a combo of non-narcotics and narcotic medications working, he took me off of them to put me on a new drug, I did not sleep for a MONTH.

complete jerk. please do yourself a favor and avoid this guy. Horribly disrespectful. deems everyone a drug-seeker. doesn't even review the patient's chart before entering the room and beginning the verbal onslaught. Go anywhere else. ANYWHERE.

Had a terrible experience with this Doctor. The procedure wasn't ever explained by him, his bed side manner was dry and uncomfortable. His nurse was great, but that's about it. His skill is certainly not up to par. I am worse off than I went in. Now going to a new doctor to try and fix the painful mess he created. I would not recommend Conarty.
