Mertel Carpets was wonderful! Jeff really helped guide our selection. He gave us great samples, and he was very patient while we made a decision. The installation was excellent too. I would highly recommend them.

We have owned our home since 1978, and Jeff and/or his father, Mr. Mertel, has put in all my carpet. I have a very large home, around 3900 square feet, and Mertel Carpets has been doing business for us since we bough the home. I am not one to write reviews but I have to mention what an amazing experience it has been to work with Jeff Mertel of Mertel Carpets in San Rafael. There aren't a whole lot of businesses that have been around for 60 years. They really know their floors and take the time to make certain the customer is happy with the product. Lots of eco friendly flooring options as well. So if you are in Marin County I highly recommend Mertel Carpets in San Rafael.

I had used Mertel Carpets in the past and decided to use them again because I had a great experience with them. They have done both hardwood and carpet for me and everything has turned out nicely, with good detail.

I decided to use Mertel Carpets because their price was competitive. They did the carpeting for our entire house and everything turned out very well. They were very professional and helpful, from the person who set up the appointment to the installers.
