Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Key West guesthouses don't usually welcome families, but this laid-back jumble of rooms and suites is an exception. If you can live with a few flaws, you'll grab a bargain. Accommodations in the 1930s Simonton House, with four-poster beds, are most suitable for couples. The one- and two-bedroom updated suites are popular with families. Bright, roomy cottages are perfect if you want a bit more...

It is a historic hotel, our room was small but adequate. The outside courtyard with small and heated pool was a great place to spend the afternoon or late evening. We were two blocks from Duvall and few blocks from great restaurants. Enjoyed the breakfast in the courtyard every morning. Am hoping to return next year and bring friends.

Amazing experience. Close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. Clean room. Quaint setting. Nicely landscaped. The cat greeted us upon arrival and made sure that the property was guarded every night. Really cannot find anything bad to say about this place except a bit pricy, but then again it was the season and everything in Key West was comparable.

As the Guest House stated, free parking - no problem... and the rest of the trip was walking, as we were so close to everything. One day we did decide to rent a scooter which was a nice break. Lots of discounts...

Thought I did my homework. Made a huge mistake! Thought we were going to be staying in a quaint clean paradise... for close to $400.00 a night that is what is should have been. I felt like we were staying in a musty motel 6 that cost 75.00 a night. A big rip off! The only good thing about the...
