Offering a “gooey, cheesy and chocolatey” “interactive” experience, these upmarket fondue chain links work for anything from a “romantic” evening to a “girls’ night out”; cynics find the concept “stuck in the ’70s” and even some fans deem it “a little pricey” for “cook-it-yourself” fare, but service is “eager” and the “ability to play with your food” makes it an “entertaining” experience.

This place was popular, and we had a party of 7, so we were sure to make a reservation....

our server was very nice and explained everything to us that he was going to do to make all of our food. it was pretty cool how the server interacts with the customers. and one of the mangers came over to us to give us money to come back since we came the week of customer appreciation.

My answers do not necessarily reflect a poor job on your restaurant. As far as the entree course, for example, I just don't enjoy cooking it myself. I always ruin it by cooking everything too long.

Know Before You Go

Prime-time reservations often require several weeks' notice.

When to Go

Cooking on forks takes time--something to keep in mind if you've got after-dinner plans. It's a great place for people just getting to know each other or who truly enjoy each other's company.
