The food is great, with lots of choices. The staff is friendly and professional. It’s my go-to cafe in Tomball.

We went for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had the Fabulous fried Catfish and Chicken fried Chicken. The meals arrived

Steaming ?. We received free of charge the peach cobbler for dessert. The service was outstanding from Miss Judy.

Mel's Country Cafe has been in the Weirich family since the beginning. Charles Weirich Sr. (Collie) built the original building for his wife Mary in 1977, and called it Mary's Fried Chicken.
