Had lunch at this nice little Cafe, will definitely go back when I'm in the area. Price was great for what you got, and the food was terrific. Great find!!!
After only one bite of the hummus, I realized that I was sitting in hummus hell. Actually, the whole meal, both the hummus and falafel, left me desiring something that was slightly more palatable. The only good thing was the semi-edible baklava.
As I wallowed in the predicament in which I now found myself, my co-worker described her gyro as subpar, yet comestible and that fries should not be garnished with paprika.
I stopped in for a quick bite and first off, the interior is not very appealing. I then ordered my favorite Greek dish...dolmathes. I was very excited to try them out and I bit into it and gray mushy rice was what greeted me. It was absolutely disgusting, and I will never be back. If you want good greek? Try the Other Place or Greek Souvlaki.
The Scene Don't blink as you cruise by the Midvale strip mall or you'll miss a chance to sample some authentic Persian (Iranian) specialties in a casual, self-serve atmosphere. The Food Most of the menu focuses on Persian items, but there are a few Greek dishes (gyros, souvlaki, Greek salad) thrown in for the timid. A good choice to to taste several dishes is the Soltani plate--one skewer each...
A delicious mix of Persian and Greek specialties served up in a one-step-up-from-fast-food atmosphere.
