Stay away from this place - at least the one on 900 SW 2nd Ave. I went in with a badly sprained/broken ankle (2 days later I still don't know) and was told that I needed to pay $50 because they were not an in-network provider for Avmed. I limped in agony back to my car and called Avmed to find an in-network provider in the area. Avmed told me the Medigo facility WAS in-network so I went back...

I had the best experience in the clinic. The staff was very polite, I payed a very fair price, a lot less than than in the ER. And I got to see a doctor inmediatly.

Although Medigo is a participating provider with my insurance, they charged me upfront, claiming that they could not verify my coverage given that my visit was over a weekend. Now they do know that my coverage is and was in good shape, their next explaination (for charging me upfront) was that Medigo does not get paid from my insurance company if insured person is from NY/NJ. Upon numerous visits at this urgent care there was a no wait period. Someone was there to assist me right away. The facility was very clean. The staff was polite and very professional. Medigo left me speachless. I now visit them whenever i have a minor medical problem. Excellent!!
