I live in the Central District and have been swimming in the Medgar Evers Pool, in the Garfield Community Center, on and off for a few years now. First the Good- It is a spacious, clean and well kept pool which offers lots of amenities and a long daily lap swim schedule (11am-3pm Monday thru Friday). The people who work there are very friendly and helpful and they have made major improvements...
