Meadowwood Nursing Center

My mother was in a Memory Care unit (Alzheimer) from Aug 2012 until April 2013 when she fell and broke her hip. After she was released from Rehab, issues developed which required her to be placed in a skilled nursing facility. At she 95, she had also become wheelchair/bed bound, and had stopped talking before her fall.

Although the place is very old, compared to the newer ones that have been built, my mother has had a good experience there, she broke her hip and was there short term for rehab, she loves the physical therapist assistant, she loves the food, loves not having to wash dishes, the staff is friendly. The facility is old but the staff is very friendly, warm and loving. DO NOT let them do your loved ones laundry, they lose many items and what you do get back is as wrinkled as a potato chip bag.
