When I signed up for the MM a couple years ago I thought I would find out what was going on in McCormick and get the Food Lion ad. No way! I was told, if you didn't live in McCormick they wouldn't send the ad and there is little useful news in the paper. When I complained about the ad they were just plain nasty. I grew up in McCormick and remember how much we looked forward to the Messenger every Thursday. Even though we got the Augusta Chronicle, there was nothing like the Messenger. It was the news of the town. Now that I have moved away, I still subscribe and still look forward to getting it in my mailbox as much as I did growing up. McCormick Messenger(MM) definitely needs a 5 star rating and also a high five for the wonderful job it does it does keeping everyone at McCormick informed about the happenings around us. The layout of MM is good and the coverage is comprehensive covering almost every aspect of McCormick. My vote is for MM over the electronic media.
