McGarvey's, O'Brien's, and the Federal House, all near the City Dock, make up Annapolis's most happening nightspot. McGarvey's doesn't have live music, but draws a crowd for its oysters and beer. It even has its own private-label Aviator Lager. The place is loud, friendly, and fun.

I didn't eat any food here, but i wanted to comment on my bar experience. The bartender stored wine and other bottles in same bucket of ice that he was putting into the drinks. Really unsanitary.

Are you kidding me?! Long story short, do not go to this lying establishment. We went here to enjoy the oyster happy hour, which we read about on both yelp and the restaurants official website....
