Just a weekday meal which was very good as usual. Server was very friendly and efficient. Rarely have had a poor meal.. Good spot

I love Excelsior, use it as the setting for my mystery novels. I've mentioned Maynard's in my books on occasion as an upper-end restaurant with a beautiful setting right on the very edge of Lake Minnetonka. The food is good, the service excellent, and the views out the windows - or, better, on the deck - spectacular. I like it that people in boats can dock right beside the deck.

Thank you for your great menu! I so enjoyed the hot walleye dinner with/pilaf rice & vegies. And, appreciate the option to change vegies. And, the 2 walleye dinner was selected by our friends, who shared it with a veggie & salad. Better pricing here than a well-known restaurant in the lake area. Thanks for cheerful server & hostess. We had an enjoyable evening on the patio.
