Justly or not, South Seattle does not enjoy the best of reputations. As a result, many of its treasures go unnoticed. Perhaps that's the reason this lovely Mexican restaurant is visited most often by its neighbors. Whatever the reason, it certainly deserves to be better known. The food served is not what is described on the menu. Service is very poor, and down right rude! No Horchata? No Chicharones? Take a good look at what they serve you, because there is a good chance it's not what you ordered, or not what was described on the menu.
I think I'm being generous giving this place two stars. I have never been treated so poorly and felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. My coworkers...
Wow! Great variety of food was had by the family. I had a mixed plate and was impressed by thegreat flavors of everything on my plate from a Mole covered chicken dish to the refried beans, everything was tasty and not overly spicy as we requested.

This is a good Mexican restaurant: clean, good prompt service, and tasty food. However I ordered the Shrimp Diablo which I assumed would be quite spicy, but it was a watered down version of American spicy. Quite a disappointment. Overall however, the ambiance and the service would make me want to visit again
