I told my girl Dale that I'd take her for a steak dinner, because she deserves the finer things in life. On a Friday night, we put on dresses and heels and some sparkly junk and headed out to the West Side for some shrimp cocktail and medium rare beef.

The decor and menu hasn't changed since 1949, and the local-heavy patrons like their smoky steakhouse just that way.

I have been dining here for years and have always had excellent food and service. I recommend the salmon, the ravioli, the pickles and everything else !

Recommended by the hotel front desk, a great historic find on the west side of Cincinnati. Great employees,food, dessert. The owner came by talked with us, showed us the downstairs and the history of the 65 year old place. Happened to be trivia night, so we stayed for all 4 rounds, a very enjoyable evening!!
