Help us make it rightReally enjoyed the food. Had a variety of appetizers that were super authentic. We even sat with the owner and had a glass of wine! We try to visit about once a month since its so close and such a great dining experience.
Simple menu with more that enough options. Limited wine menu. Simple restaurant with plenty of character. Convenient the the Posada if staying there. Be careful with the front railing. Not secure/needs replacing. There is seating out back. We had seafood dishes with the chorizo appetizer. An interesting option would have been the family style meals or just having appetizers (tapas)....
Very modest, we had the Paella, rice was perfect but the fish was dry. Clean place, very friendly, tapas were ok. Will give it another try.
I have been to this place many times. One cannot go wrong. Try the tapas, lamb, wine is included with meal. Very friendly service. Clean and delightful.

A Basque restaurant, Matxain Etxea features live music on Saturdays and live Flamenco dancing on every second Thursday. The restaurant is open from 11am until 9pm from Wednesday through Sunday.
