Always late (HOURS), did not fix problem with wrist, nerve and shoulder. Refused to consult with treating physical therapist after numerous attempts to contact doctor. Was told shoulder could not be treated at same time, this was false. The surgery he did needed to be completely redone. Avoid Him!

Dr. Masem operated on my rt. hand 2 times in 1997/98.
Despite the severity of damage, the expected60to70%
usage was virtually 100% & extended my career in auto repair
with NO limitations to this date. I recommend him to anyone willing to work HARD in rehab;Most failures take place there,when patients coddle themselves.(I saw this first hand

I had Dr. Masem operate on my right hand for curling little finger during which he nicked an adjacent tendon (which he will deny) causing trigger finger to develop in the next finger which he had to repair in a subsequent operation as soon as the first one healed enough. I broke two fingers and didn't think it was a big deal to select a doctor. I was sooooo wrong! I was mis-treated by Dr. Masem and his staff and it extended the length of recovery and the range of motion I now have on my finger. I had to get extra care for my finger and take more time off of work. And he was so rude, missed appointments when I took time off of work. Very unprofessional,...
