I went to Dr. Bradley three or four years ago because I had pain in my lower left leg when I ran. I had symptoms of exertional compartment syndrome and asked if he tested for it. He said no and that it was rare and that my pain was from training.

I so appreciate Dr. Heitzman's straight-forward, hands on approach. He looks at the complete picture, not just what the tests show. He is clearly a compassionate man who cares about his patients.

Did not notice a complete full thickness tear of the tendon (completely torn from the bone) that was clearly obvious in the MRI, of which the only proper course of action is surgery. Did not fully test for function and disregarded complaints of severe pain. Sent me to physical therapy that could have been detrimental without proper diagnosis. Luckily I sought a second opinion.
