The Mars' Cheese Castle was established in 1947 by Mario & Martha Ventura. Today, it is still family owned and operated by the founder's heirs.

This is a tourist trap with high prices and average service. That said, the beer selection is solid. They also have a big cooler, so there's plenty of cold choices too. I stopped because I wanted to check it out and it is easy to get on and off the expressway. Not sure if I'll go back for the beer. The selection of quality cheese is impressive.
Been coming here for years, touristy trap but you have to check it out! They reminded a few years ago and prices went up a bit but they have a fantastic selection of cheese, sausages, mustards Wisconsin fun stuff!

Great place to stop if you want a tourist experience. Magnets, shot glasses, tshirts, oh and cheese! They have a nice selection of wine, beer, and sausage as well. The atmosphere was a bit cheesy but glad we stopped.
On my way into Kenosha I asked my friend to take me here. On my way home the Cheese Castle was in the schedule, and I am glad we made time. Thousands of cheeses and wine too! A helpful and knowledgeable staff made it a great stop.
