Looking at all hotel possibilities in augusta., GA. it is really difficult to find a better quality hotel at a reasonable price. We had the opportunity to book this Marriott at a special rate, beeing of higher ranking than others in the area, but roughly same price.

Faculty was nice and people friendly. Location is downtown next to river and restraunts. My only complaint is that our room smelled like a dead mouse. Maintain economic man said the smell was from the carpeting and used a frabreeze type deodorizer. Not a Marriott type quality. Shuttle to the Masters was great!
