What a joy to be able to go out to eat with friends and enjoy many foods! Because i`m gluten intolerant this is not an easy task! Mark`s makes eating fun,delicious,and easy again! Mark`s has a designated fryer and their staff is very knowledgeable!Vegetables are all fresh! I ordered scallops they were so succulent! Light batter as to not over power the tender,juicy,fresh from the sea flavor!...

Stopped here during Appleton Restaurant week. They serve a great homemade Mojito. The sauerkraut balls with horseradish were delicious. You have to try the schaum torte. It is very good!

My wife and I arrived late on a Friday afternoon for an early dinner and were immediately welcomed and shown to a very nice corner table. Our waitress was friendly and provided us excellent service. First time here we saw a lot of cars and decided to give it a try. It was a bit fancy in the dining room for what we where looking for but our sandwiches where good. Waitresses was attentive. We would go back again but now know to expect an upscale experience.

After 19 years, 3 different owners and a couple of fires, the then closed restaurant was purchased by Mark's parents, Bill and Jan Dougherty in July 1967.
