After seeing two other docs (my internist and an urgent care doc on a Sunday) who both minimized my complaints and did nothing to help me, I decided to visit a pulmonologist when my symptoms had not improved after two weeks.

I saw Dr. Ushkow today as a new patient for an urgent visit. She was extremely nice and understanding. She took the time to listen to my entire situation. She explained what was going on with me in terms I could easily understand and discussed "the plan" clearly in a way I could understand. Dr. Ushkow was referred to me by a recommended pulmonologist who couldn't see me for two weeks.
