I'm confused about the first review. I called for a quote on what he would pay on a proof and mint set and he told me that he does not give quotes on those over the phone. He didn't explain why. So I didn't feel a need to ask for one. He was polite, straight to the point and even though I was dissapointed on no quote I really do appreciate his honesty on how he conducts his business. I usually sell on eBay to get the best price for coins and/or precious metals. But, as I was having computer problems, and wanted to sell some of my inventory right away; I called around to find a place that would give me a fair price.

Bill, at Marconi Coin was upfront and fair in his pricing. He quoted me a price over the phone and stuck with that price when we showed up to sell.

Call in the mornings to have the best chance of catching him.
