This food was good but overrated as it gets. The customer service was mediocre and the wait time was so long. I think it doesn't deserve the reputation it has.

Dirty college dive with terrible sandwich and good fries

It's a college dump. It's narrow place with a counter and a few tables in the back. It feels dirty and reviewer mentioned a cockroach!!!! I'm sure the college gets get food to go and don't even notice.
I went with a friend who always orders the souvlaki and loves it. I tried the loukanika which is sausage in tomato...

The gyro here was pretty good, not amazing but pretty good. I would go back if I were in the area.

Decided to try this restaurant based on reviews and was glad I did. The establishment is adjacent to University of Maryland and gets rather busy at lunch. Everything here is authentic Greek food. It's been family owned for as long as they've been here and they have the best gyros in the area. Everything is worth the money, but to maximize your first time, get the Value Meal (gyro and fries), wash it down with a birch beer and enjoy a bowl of rice pudding. Cheap eating...

This family-owned restaurant is known for its authentic gyros, but the menu includes a variety of other Greek foods, such as souvlaki, loukaniko and turnovers. The open kitchen, counter and small space interior create a homey feel.
