The food is delicious and the menu is diverse, but, I think they are a bit expensive compared to other local sushi spots.

The sushi is very good, and there is a variety of Japanese dishes. Service is very friendly. Nice place to relax, with friends or family. I really like the tuna sashimi salad.

I've been going to Maizuru sinced they opened several years ago. Consistently quality food along with good service. I'm a sushi guy and although it's not the best I've had, it's well above average. Guests I dine with frequetly order combinations and they are always satisfied with their meals.

Maizuru is tucked away in a food court in an Irvine shopping center. It's not a place you'd chose as a destination restaurant. But it's worth seeking out this hidden gem.
