Miss it! They had good food at good prices. Great family place. Good fish N chips as well as s'mores.

This past weekend, I was so very disappointed to see one of my favorite eating places, the Maniax restaurant closed. I had hoped they were only doing renovations but as I just read on this site, unfortunately I'm wrong. This place will be greatly missed & I hope the owners will reopen somewhere else & let us all know where....

Don't bother going to Mainiax. It is closed & will soon be a pre-school. Too bad. We liked the cheap lobster rolls and the smores for dessert:(:(

Maniax now a scam

We have been going to Maniax Restaurant in Wells, Maine for several years now. F or Christmas last year I purchased $120.00 worth of gift certificates for my daughters. We were in Maine last weekend. I tried to call them as our party was large and did not get an answer. We drove up anyways and found they were closed....
