The name is shorthand for ‘meat and three sides', the "down-home" menu concept of this affordable Southern spot in college-friendly Davis Square; the retro '50s-era diner setting features a linoleum-wrapped dining counter overlooking an open kitchen, chalkboard-covered tables (chalk graffiti encouraged) and a "lovely" staff.

This is one of my favorite spots in Davis. It's small but surprisingly we've never had to wait long, even with groups of 4. Staff is very friendly.
