To start off, my husband called to make a reservation for our family at Magleby's and the first time they hung up on him. He called back and this time they said "Uh, I don't know I will have to get back to you." How difficult can it be to make a reservation? Then an hour later they called back and said "we are booked upstairs but we can "squeeze" you in downstairs" as if they didn't have room....

The bread is amazing and so is the chocolate cake. Get either one of those and you'll be happy. Also, the house salad with the vinaigrette dressing is yummy. If you go for breakfast, you will love anything that comes with syrup. It is thick and delicious!

Magelby's breakfast options, chocolate cake, and salads are great. It does seem to have and "older" variety of food. Overall, the place is good. It's not my number 1 pick of where to eat, but I wouldn't run and hide from it, either.
