Guess the bad customer service and reviews caught up with the owner. The local paper reported that he will close this shop on October 31, 2014, and open another one, with a new name, in Florham...

About to get my first adult brand new bike here. They only sell the Trek brand here which was exactly what I was looking for, the 7.2 FX. It's marked at MSRP so what you see on the Trek website is...

Madison Bicycle Shop has been in business since 1965 and takes pride in maintaining its mom-and-pop feel. The bike store carries a large array of bicycle brands for all ages and exercise equipment by Nautilus and Schwinn Fitness. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop also repairs used bicycles.
