I was scammed into paying CAMCO - Capital Acquisitions and Management Company $332.24 on Sept. 09, 2004 to settle a debt from Bank of America. I'm so upset that I don't even care about the money anymore! I ONLY hope these people will be jailed for a very long time!!!

I have received a collection notice from CAMCO for a debt from the 1980's!! In my maiden name.
This debt was in a bankruptcy suit, and has been cleared for years. As of today I have not spoken with them- I want to get help in what to say and how the law works with this type of situation. I have been reading "your" posts about these guys and the hair is standing up on the back of my neck!

CAMCO issue resolved - Here's how

After contacting every agency i could think of i finally received a letter from the BBB stating that CAMCO can not provide proof of the debt (because there is none) and that they have ceased all collection activity and will not sell the "debt".
