Sunday night was $2.00 Tap beer. Spotted cow, 312, ipa's and even a red ale. Pleasantly surprised by this place. One of the few places with cocktail waitresses as even the bar was busy and full on a Sunday evening. Definitely a good place for service and your wallet. good music also. Requestable songs without paying for a jukebox.

Mabel's is the longest owned, most succeful bar on Main Street in Oshkosh for a reason. It has been a staple of the Oshkosh bar scene since it opened its doors in 1974 and has the most diverse patrons, from college students to longtime regulars and locals, that I have ever seen. Good drink deals. Fair prices. Darts, gambling, shake of the day, pull tabs, pizza, jerky, beef sticks! Great team if bartenders and the only place in town with actual cocktail waitresses!

If you're looking for a chill, classy place to hang with friends, then go elsewhere. There was a time when Mabel Murphy's was the nice place to meet with your friends and have a drink while conversing, but not anymore. Mabel Murphy's Oshkosh location – there's also a Mabel's in Scottsdale, Arizona – bills itself as the home of Packers football in Oshkosh. The place is a nice alternative to downtown's rowdier college bars, and in addition to University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh students, plenty of young professionals drop in for a drink after work. Happy hour specials are well-received. Casual to smart-casual attire.
