This church is not only physically full of light and simple beauty, but spiritually as well. A welcoming, peaceful place of worship with smiling, open-armed congregants. What a gem. Come praise and sing here on Sundays at 10am if you want a refreshing devotional renewal for your week! I heard this was the first UCC congregation in IL to confirm their open and affirming status. Attended our first service here today. We found the congregation to be warm and welcoming. The service was interactive, and not the 'old' stuffy routine of the Catholic Church. You could feel the love and joy in the room. We have found a wonderful place to worship.
