Ice skating on a rainy NW summer day

Ice skating at camp today, job 1 for me is skate lace tightener and tongue adjuster ......the kiddos are doing great, first time for alot of them.

We took our little gymnast to ice skate on a Thursday afternoon. What an amazing experience. The wonderful group of skaters who were there took such a loving interest in her. She had many mini private lessons from some wonderful regulars. As we were leaving, one of the great teachers asked us to bring her back again. We will be back. She had a blast.

Tips about this business (3)

Look Good

Ice rinks are generally kept between 50 and 55 degrees, so dress appropriately. The sports shop in the building sells knit gloves for $5 if you forget yours.

Know Before You Go

Bring 75 cents in quarters for a locker if you are going to rent skates--they don't have a spot for your shoes.

Save Money

Wednesday nights, you can skate from 7pm to 8:30pm for $5.
