Lumpkin’s Barbecue is one of the best all-you-can-eat buffets in the metro area. This restaurant, locally owned and operated by Melvin and Monique Davis, serves up some of the best Southern barbecue and soul food around.

So the Cottonland Dives-Only Lunch Crew made a stop at Lumpkin's BBQ yesterday. We arrived to great tunes and a well stocked buffet table. Out the door...

This place is absolutely the best place in Jackson for true southern soul food! They have a buffet at lunch but it isn't your average buffet. The brisket is to die for and so is the mac and cheese!
